St. David's Center Celebrates 50 Years with its Fall Festival | Arts & Culture

St. David's Center for Child & Family Development in Minnetonka is celebrating its 50th anniversary.  The Center held its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 25th.  It was the perfect way for my husband, daughter, and I to spend some family time together!

Austen could have played all day on the pre-school playground at St. David's, but the anniversary celebration was also a Grand Opening of the new toddler playground there, which is said to be Minnesota's "first toddler playground that integrates both inclusive and natural play elements."  Our vote: BOTH playgrounds were fantastic!  We also saw some animals and reptiles from the Raptor Center, caught the tail end of the "Tricia and the Toonies" show, and watched other families take hayrides (the line was too long for us!)  There were art projects for the kids and my daughter's favorite: face paint!  She got a little frog on her cheek that was super cute.
