Tonka Bay Family to Rebuild After House Fire | News
A Tonka Bay family will rebuild their house on Lake Minnetonka after a massive fire that started on Monday. Homeowners Michele and Scott Schmitt says they were able to salvage some of what was inside.
Fire instigators say a heating lamp in the garage was the cause of the blaze. It was being used to keep the family dog and newborn puppies warm.
The four puppies died in the fire. The mother was able to escape through a dog door.
