With fresh snow on the ground, you may not be thinking about boating. But we know 22 people who are.
The City of Minnetonka held its annual lottery to fill vacant boat slips at Gray's Bay Marina. The drawing was held Thursday. Four entrants won a chance to rent a slip for the 2012 season. 18 were put on the waiting list.
Winners were called and then mailed lease paperwork. The fee is $3,900. For that, boaters get access to a slip that's 24 feet long and 10-1/2 feet wide.
