Twin Cities Shatters Record High Temps, But Not For Long! | Weather
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
The Twin Cities reached a new record high temperature Tuesday, shattering the old record.
As of 2:30 p.m. the temperature stood at 52 degrees and climbing. The old record set in 1990 is 49 degrees.
KSTP Meteorologist Dave Dahl says temperatures could still climb a few degrees before peaking for the day.
But enjoy it while you can. A big change is headed our way. Dahl says temperatures Wednesday will fall a good 20 degrees in to the low 30's, with at least a 60-percent chance of snow.
There is good news in all this for winter enthusiasts too. Dahl says we could see a few inches of accumulation
by the end of the day Wednesday.
